How can i do somewhat like saxon:evaluate in my xslt transformation?
I tried to write an extension object, but in my case i need some
context information (the value of an xslt-variable) to evaluate the
xpath expression.
Is there a way to get some context information into an extension
object?
I don't think it's feasible in a generic way. You can pass context node as a
parameter of extensoin function and then somehow to evaluate given expression.
But afaik XSLT engine doesn't expose its internal context information like
variable values to extension functions. Instead you have to pass all
information you need as parameters.
