urgent, urgent help needed.

Hi,
I developed a COM+ Server application on my XP machine. It works excellent.
I exported as server application and then installed it in a windows 2003
server. I then exported it as a Proxy Client from the Windows 2003 server and
installed the proxy client on 2 xp machines and it works fine. When I try to
install the proxy client to our windows 2000 adv server SP4 (production box)
I get the error

"Error 1928. Error registering COM+ Application. Contact your support
personnel for more information"

I found some KB's but none of the solution works. I check for permission
issues and found none. I am logged in as administrator. I can seem to find
any of the Rollup Hot Fix for COM+ though. All the links in the KBs are
broken.

Please advice.

Chris,

In your situation, I'd give MS Support a call. If the pages with info on the
hotfixes can't be found, they might be part of a later SP. In many cases
however, hotfixes are not directly downloadable; you need to contact MS
support.
