Can't install VS.NET 2005 Standard

Hi all,

Just downloaded the iso file from the subscribers download area. I used
isobuster to extract the contents and place them in a separate folder on my
HD.

When I launch autorun.exe or setup.exe, I get the following error:

"A problem has been encountered while loading the setup components.
Cancelling Setup"

My system:
Windows 2000 SP4 plus all other updates
Visual Studio 6 + updates
Office 2003 SP2 + updates
..NET Framework 1.1 + updates

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thanks,
Ivan

Ivan,

I wonder if somehow one or more files didn't get (correctly) extracted from
the ISO image. That's what the error message sounds like.

I guess that was it, but it was very strange.

The first time I extracted the iso, I had 1551 files in 75 folders for a
total of 2837680103 bytes. It didn't work.

So I deleted the folder, re-extracted the iso, got the same files, folders
and size as above, and it's installing just right now :)

Perhaps a dumb question but do you have adminstrative rights on the computer?
Try using Daemon Tools instead to mount the ISO-image.
