How to get the functionality of Start -> Run in code

Hi this is a general windows question as much as .net.

I need to connect to a directory on a UNC path that is on same WAN but a
different domain to the application. The directory is protected by a username
and password.

Trying to access a System.IO.FolderInfo Object with the UNC Path or using a
System.Diagnostics.Process object to shell Explorer passing in the UNC as
the argument results in a Win32Exception "The system cannot find the file
specified". Passing the UNC path to the process object as the file name
(StartWithShellExecuteEx) causes a Win32Exception "Logon failure: unknown
user name or bad password".

Manually Entering the UNC path into the RUN box from the start menu prompts
for the username and password. After this all of the above methods work fine
for the remainder of the User's login without need for further authentication.

How can I duplicate (Or preffeably just call) the functionality of Strat ->
RUN at runtime.

Thanks

Ben
