Hi, I'm trying to add a link to the Document Actions window on a smart
document I'm writing. I've followed the instructions on the Smart Doc
SDK's tutorial but it seems that a specific line is failing in a
strange way. Any help getting this to work is appreciated. A
reference to SHDocVw has been included and the namespace is being used.
The code below works as expected with the objNav = new
SHDocVw.InternetExplorerClass(); line commented out, displaying all of
the MessageBoxes in sequence. When I put the line back in, the entire
function fails to execute. Not even MessageBox1 shows up, even when
other controls are invoked.
public void InvokeControl(int ControlID, string ApplicationName,
object Target, string Text, string Xml, int LocaleID)
{
Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Range objRange;
objRange = (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Range)Target;
MessageBox.Show("1");
MessageBox.Show("2");
SHDocVw.InternetExplorerClass objNav;
object objTemp = null;
MessageBox.Show(ControlID.ToString());
switch(ControlID)
{
case 1001:
MessageBox.Show("3");
//objNav = new SHDocVw.InternetExplorerClass();
MessageBox.Show("4");
