Can anyone share any info on software vendor?

Hi All!
I am a young independent developer and still not too well used to today’s
severe world.
I need a reliable reporting component for my business application and my
search has brought me to 9Rays.Net’s reporting tool. The problem is that I
think that the tool is pretty nice, but I haven’t heard anything about this
vendor before.
Can anyone tell me about this company? What is their reputation? Can I rely
on them?
Any info will be sincerely appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
Michael.

A Google Groups search may not give you all the answers, but it should
provide some indications.
Just took a quick look and all the "testimonials" appear to come from a Al
Ponomarev, who is affiliated with 9Rays. Many product "announcements". but
very little in the way of independent endorsement. As they appear to offer
free evaluation downloads of their products, I'd suggest taking advantage to
draw your own conclusions. In addition, you could contact them and ask for a
list of contacts (in your area of the world) from their current customers.
They shouldn't mind providing a list if they have nothing to hide.
