XMLHttpRequest Crashes Internet Explorer

Hey,
I've created an Html file that uses the following script block to
access the server via XMLHttpRequest:
<script lang="jscript">
var objXMLHTTP = new ActiveXOject("MSxml2.XMLHttp")*;
objXMLHTTP.open("POST","http://MyServer/MySite/Page.asp",false);
objXMLHTTP.setRequestHeader("C*ontent-Type","application/x-ww*w-form-urlencoded");

objXMLHTTP.send('PARAMS=127445*294');
var retVal = objXMLHTTP.responseText;
</script>
All is well for first couple of times, but after a while, the IE hangs
for a couple of minutes and crashes!
I used a Sniffer (Ethereal) to see if the hang is because of the web
server not responding, but when the hang happens I see no activity on
the outgoing packets...
I tried running the same script but with a newer version of
XMLHttpObject (4.0) and still the same thing...
Any ideas?
Thanks ahead
Iddo
