Web Services SoapException When I switch to .NET framework 2.0.x

Al
I am using web services to access the data residing on SQL server. The web
services works fine as long as I using .Net framwork 1.1.4x. But when I
switch to .net 2.0.x I get the following error.

Protocals.SoapExcpetion in .Net 2

System.Web.Services.Protocals.SoapExeption:
System.Web.Services.Protocals.SoapExeption: Service was unable to process
request. --> System.InvalidOperationException: There was an error generation
the XML document.--> System.ArgumentException:"." hexadecimal value 0x00, is
an invalid

....
Any idea what I need to do?

Thanks

Al
