Deploying my application

Visual Studio 2003 .Net / C# / SQL2000

I have written an app in C# talking to a SQL Server backend. My solution
contains 2 projects, 1 is the application, the other is a deployment project,
which generates for me an msi file. To install the app all I do is go to the
persons machine and run this install program and then they can run my
application.

This is all fine, but how do I do an upgrade? At the moment I am
uninstalling then installing the new one. Is there a better way? Can I
somehow create an upgrade package?

Thanks

Steve
