We have an application that will display 100's of real-time values
from a remote data source and are trying to figure out the best
approach.
I was wondering if anybody has had some experience in doing thin
clients with the help of .NET remote. Is it any good, how is the
perfomance - compared to programming it with pure sockets.
From the data modelling point of view it seems nice but has anybody
used it to do real high performance applications?
Any comments are greatly appreciated.
