When will ASP.NET Version 2.0 be released?

My boss asked me to create a new intranet, and I would like to use this new
version, but I don't know when it will be available. I want to take
advantage of master pages especially. Could someone please respond with
advice on what I should do. Also, I can't find any support books on this at
Barnes and Nobles. Any idea where I can get reference books.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt,
I understand that .NET 2.0 will be launched the week of Nov 7th:

You can deploy it today with the Go Live license.

Hope this helps
