Help : How to lock an application ???

Hi ,

i'm trying to lock an application to a specific computer . Can someone tell
me the best options to do that ?
Read the internal serial number of the hard disk, motherboard, ... ? How can
i do that ? I know there are some Api calls but they only work in Xp ...
Can you please give me some ideas ?
