Hi all..
It's a common practice to have a development server that hosts all
applications (windows form or ASP.NET) and several developers connect to it
through their own PC's.
Well... with that scenario, I am developing a Windows Form application. For
that, I have connected with VS.NET using a shared resource on the server.
When I try to connect, a warning is shown telling about security and that it
is possible for the application to throw some exceptions.
The question is. What is the best practice to develop this kind of projects
on a remote server? And.. what about ASP.NET applications? in this latter
case, I connect using http://server/application (I don't have IIS installed
in my local machine, but I do in the remote server). Is this approach
correct?
Thanks a lot for your advice
Jaime
