VS.2003 IDE - can't search solution?? limited bookmarks?

I'm trying to search (Ctrl + F) a Solution (contains multiple projects) but
the VS.2003 IDE doesn't appear to permit such an option accross projects
within a solution? Even VB6 let me do this, anyone have any alternatives?
I can't believe such a critical feature was left out of VS.2003 or am I just
missing something??

Also, I've noticed that bookmarks seem to be file specific!!! If I try to
move to another bookmark in another file VS.2003 just doesn't do it, I have
to actually locate the file manually -- now this is just CRAZY!! I hope I'm
just missing something cause right now I'm wondering how the dev team
working on VS.2003 could have thought that no one wanted or need a good
bookmark system and search feature?? Features that existed in prior dev

Thanks, Rob.
