Access my UserControl from my form?

C#

I have TabControl which houses a UserControl. The UserControl is just a
load of data input fields etc, but when the user is done entering the data I
need to save that data and then get back to the main form that the TabControl
is sitting on, so I can change the Page of the TabControl.

How can I call a method in the UserControl from my main form, or vice versa,
how can I call methods in the form that instantiated the UserControl from
that UserControl?
