Ports Communication

Hi people,

I'm a beginner programming ports, I need write a code in C# which be able of
communicate with a RS232 port and a pararell port, I've seem that exist 2
ways, calling the WIN32 API from C# classes or using wrappers with unmanage
code (C++ as instance).

Can somebody tell me which is the best way to establish a comunication with
the ports?

Somebody knows easy examples were can I read to code my application?

Thanks for your help.
