Cannot find server or DNS Error when importing data

Hi Gurus,

Please forgive me if my question is dumb cause this is my first web
application I've done.

Currently in my web application there is a button to click which will fire
off a DTS event to import data into my SQL server. During the importing
process, there're also several calculation made to amend/modify the import
data accordingly.

The button works fine. However when I attempt to import higher volumes of
data, after sometime I'll get a "The page cannot be displayed - Cannot Find
Server or DNS Error" on the webpage after clicking the button. Upon querying
my respective tables, I can detect that the importing and processing is still
taking place when the error is displayed.

Using the same import file, this error doesn't appear when I run the webpage
and import in my IDE on my local machine (Win2k/IIS5) but after I deploy to
my server (Win2003/IIS6) the error will be shown.

Is there a setting I need to config for my web application to detect that
the import is still in progress and not that the site is down (Server not
responding)?
