Error running VB.NET Application through Service

I am running a simple .NET program, which is being executed by a windows
service and I am coming across the error -532459699. I have tried the
following:
Ran the service using the system id and a specific id - no difference
Compiled program using VB6 - this actually works but unfortunatley I need
this in .NET
Ran the .NET program on the same machine without the service and this works

My environment:
Windows 2003 for the service and program
VB.NET 2005 - Beta 1 for the program

I need to get a VB.NET 2003 environment created so I can compile with this
to see if that works, but if anyone has any suggestions, it would be much
appreciated. Thanks.
