Hi Asher,

Not entirely sure what you are asking, but yes, they will run on XP Pro

2003 only if you want the full TFS install. Get the latest help file before
installing and read through everything so you know where you are going
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

I have it installed in a VPC image, which works nicely. NOTE that you will
want at least a GB of RAM for this install, as the products use a lot. If you
have even more (I have 2GB) it is better.

ANother note: You will have to throttle down the TFS warehouse after
install. In the April CTP, it is set to poll WAAAAY too often. Follow these
steps:

1. In a command prompt type 'net stop TFSServerScheduler'
2. Browse http://localhost:8080/Warehouse/ware...ontroller.asmx

Change settingID to RunIntervalSeconds and set the value to something rather
large, for example 3600 (once per hour). Click invoke.

3. Restart the service: 'net start TFSServerScheduler'

If you do not do this, your CPU will stay at 70% or higher perpetually.

He was focused on Team Foundation Server, which does require Win 2003.
