ftp access?

Will .Net work with just FTP access?

I created a web form with a code behind, uploaded it to an existing website
via ftp. I try to access the web form page and get an error about not being
able to load the instance of the code I created.

The first line has this:

<%@ Page language="c#" Codebehind="intro.aspx.cs" AutoEventWireup="false"
Inherits="myproject.myclass" %>

The error says it can't load myproject.myclass which is defined in
intro.aspx.cs.

How do I fix this?

If I understand you correctly, you used FTP to upload your webform, and then
tried to access it using the browser with HTTP prototocol ( not FTP ) and
you got this error?

It seems to me that the application is not able to instantiate your
"myproject.myclass" type. Most probably, that type is contained in the
codebehind file intro.aspx.cs, or in another DLL.

You need to make sure you upload all your application dependencies.
