Help! Unable to create queue and message on server

Hi,
I installed MSMQ on my domain controller (windows 2003) with AD integration,
downlevel client support and trigger. On my xp client I installed MSMQ. In my
vb.net app I am able to send a message to a private queue to the xp (local)
but not the the domain controller. I get the message

"Invalid queue path name "

The path to access the local msmq is

".\Private$\testqueue"

The pathe I am having trouble with is

"servername\Private$\testqueue"
I created the queue manually under Private on the server.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
