Set filter in DirectorySearch to get only users that are not disab

Hi all,
I am trying to set the "Filter" property of directory search object so that
the search returns only users that are not disabled in Active Directory?
Currently the way i do this to make a query to Active Directory and, have a
if condition that looks for the "AccountDisabled" flag of ActiveDs.IADsUser
object to find if the user account is disabled, but i want to move away from
this and do the filter before i run the query to Active Directory and not
after i get the data from Active directory.
I am writing the code in C# and .Net 1.1 and our AD is on windows 2003.

Thanks in advance any help i receive.
