[XmlXxxxx] attributes

I am having trouble understanding the differences between

XmlElementAttribute
XmlArrayItemAttribute
XmlIncludeAttribute

Various parts of the MSDN help appear to be saying that a particular one of
these can be used when you are serializing a property or return value that
is a polymorphic array or collection - but a different one is used in each
example!

Surely there must be a difference between them, though, or they wouldn't all
exist!

Can anyone enlighten me, please?
