WINVER Not Defined

Hi,
When compiling with C++.NET 2003 I get a statement,
WINVER not defined:Defaulting to 0x0501 ( WIndows XP and Windows.NET
Server ).
Not sure what this means.
Does not seem to affect the code though.
Anyone know if I need to do anything about this, or what I should do
about it.

Thanks
Jeff
