strange error after install

Hi, I had beta 1 of VS2005. I uninstalled it before installing VS 2005 Pro
Beta 2

Now whenever I create a new project, the form1 gives this error: Method not
found: 'Int32
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsErrorItem. GetCategory(UInt32 ByRef)'

Whatt can be the problem ???
I use XP SP-2 2GB RAM P4-2.8Ghz etc. etc.

Regards,

Vincent

I can't help - I can only commiserate. I have exactly the same
situation with the same problem/error. I've tried uninstalling and
reinstalling, but that didn't help. :-(

Did you ever find a solution?

Brad.

That might well have done the job. I wish I'd found that sooner!
Unfortunately, I got impatient and wiped that machine. So, I guess
I'll never know. :-S

Anyway, thanks for your help!
Brad.
