Use of Console Snap-ins?????

Dear all,

I need to develop a database application which have a user interface which
will be used for nomrlla application operation and then I need to get a
configuration interface in which only administrators will have access as it
allows to modify database configuration.

I was wondering if the configuration part could be easier to be handle as
sepoarate from the suer interface. For that I was thinking to handle the
configuration database as a snap-in that you can confgured from mmc.

Does it sounds something stupid or something possible to do ?

thnaks for your advise
regards
serge
