trouble with command line compiler

Hi

I have a project in c# that compiles OK in Visual Studio but won't compile
from the command line (using csc.exe)

The error I get is:
ucEdit.ascx.cs - The type or namespace name 'CuteEditor' could not be found
(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
CuteEditor is my drop-in text editor. The 'CuteEditor.dll' is in my \bin
folder and properly referenced. In \admin\ucEdit.ascx.cs I reference the
CuteEditor namespace, and then
declare it:
using CuteEditor;

....

public CuteEditor.Editor cute1;
These are the lines that cause the error in the command line compiler. It's
almost like it hasn't compiled the CuteEditor.dll by the time it reaches this
file? Can anyone suggest what might be going wrong?

Many thanks,

Ed
