Visual Studio 2005 - Dual Installation?

Hi,

just one question: I'm currently working with VS.NET 2003 on my current
project but nethertheless dying to check out the new 2005 version of VS. Can
this installation coexist on my PC, without overwriting any of my settings
(esp. debugging etc.)?

Thanks
Peter

I have VS 2003 and 2005 running on the same machine just fine. I did have to
go through 2005 and set the settings to what I had in 2003, so I think you
should be OK. I just would be careful about opening any of your current
projects in 2005 as it forces you to update the solution and project files.

Also remember 2005 is still beta, if you have another machine you can
install it on I would suggest doing that. I have both running and thus far
have had no issues, but they are also installed on my home machine where if
i have to re-install it's not a big deal.
