dot net minimum install

I am going to write an executable program that will run on Win XP sp1. What
do I need to install to allow it to run. Do I have to install the whole
framework or is there a minimum version for client installs?

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

For any .NET application to run, you need to install the runtime on the
client. You can download the redistributable here...

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Dont worry, its only an 18 MB file. You cannot selectively install
components. The entire runtime has to be installed for any app to run.

HTH,

Need any help, do post a msg back.
Happy Coding
