Verifying Client Accepted Advertisement from SMS 2003

We are trying to allow the client to accept the sms package using there own
time frame not the mandatory option. However the client is only prompted
once in the system tray that a package is available. We would like to view
the registry to see if the client has installed the package, and if they have
not remind them again to install the awaiting package. Its my understanding
that there is a registry setting that will allow us to check to see if the
package has been installed, we are not sure what that registry setting is.
Does anyone know how to check to see if the package has been installed.

Thanks
Troutbum
