Newest VC 7.1 version?

Hi,

is there an update available for VC 7.1? My version is 7.1.3088. I'd like
to have a version that doesn't close some of the source files I have open
every 10th (or so) debug session.

Well, since you ask (although I'm not really sure you want to know). Here
are a few nice links:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top-posting
http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/gey_stv0.htm
http://www.google.se/search?hl=sv&q=...S%C3%B6k&meta=

In summary: it is just easier to follow a discussion where you didn't take
part. For example, you find something interesting that was discussed a year
ago. If everybody bottom-replied, you can easily follow the conversation.

Ok, thanks for the answer.

Daniel,

That is all about top posting in a mail.

Top posting in a newsgroup means changing the date to stay in some
newsreaders in top of the message threads.

I like it mostly to remove irrelevant lines in a newsgroup message.

I can see them always when I want them.

I use only inline bottom or top posting (depending the relevance), when I
need to reference very clear.

(Not that I am always consistent in that)
