Crystal Export PDF on Win 2003

Hello,

i am trying to export the crystal report in pdf format but i am getting
error while exporting.

Error in File c:\inetpub\wwwroot\Crys\CrystalReport1.rpt: Access to report
file denied. Another program may be using it.

My PC is win 2003 i think this problem is because of win 2003 i have given
rights to asp.net account on folder Crys and temp folder, somewhere i got
refrence that "On Windows Server 2003, you need to grant permissions to
NetworkService user, not ASPNET. The .NET Framework on Win2K3 uses
NetworkService, while on Win2K, ASPNET."

Can anyone help with using exporting of pdf on win 2003 and how to give
appropriate rights.

The error message is misleading in your case.

You're right to suspect about the permission of the user on the output folder.

For w2k3 check permissions for Network Service user.

You should better create a report output folder on the webroot of your
server for your Crystals and grant write permission for Network Service user
