.Net Application and SQL DTS Packages

I'm creating a VB.Net Windows Application to allow users to execute
various SQL DTS Packages. Using code taken from Q321525 (HOW TO: Use
DTS Package Events in Visual Basic .NET), I've successfully managed to
execute packages from my SQL server.

The problem I have is that I want to display the events that the
package fires during it's execution (OnStart, OnProgress and OnFinish)
in a label on a my form. The example code from the above article does
output the events, but only to the console (Console.WriteLine). I've
tried referencing the label field and other controls from within the
Public Class PackageEventsSink, but they are all out of scope.
Anyone able to help me out with this?
