Problem with RequiredFiledValidator

P: n/a
I have a TextBox with RequiredfieldValidator and two buttons; ButtonSubmit
and ButtonCancel.

When someone click on the ButtonCancel how do i stop the
RequiredFieldValidator? I only want to RequiredFieldValidator to work when
the ButtonSubmit is clicked.

any suggestion? many thanks in advance.

Have you tried changing the "CausesValidation" property on the Cancel
Button?
