Winforms DataGrid reference?

Hey all,

I have contusions and I think a minor concussion after trying to find
information on advanced WinForms DataGrid use. Does anyone know of a site /
book that gets really in-depth on the DataGrid? I've found a number of
postings and help topics but would like to find something that treats the
DataGrid as a topic, not just a loose collection of hundreds of articles.

TIA,

John

John,

The winforms datagrid has so extended possibilities that your question what
I translated as, "please give me all details on one page" is in my opinion
impossible, however here a lot of links.

Complete very nice controls

<http://dotnet.leadit.be/extendeddatagrid>

Faqs
http://64.78.52.104/FAQ/WinForms/default.asp#44

http://www.microsoft.com/belux/nl/ms.../datagrid.mspx

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...stDataGrid.asp

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...ormattopic.asp

DateTimePicker (more how to make a custom column)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...classtopic.asp

I hope this helps a little bit?

Thanks, Cor. Yes, it always helps to have good resources!

I was a bit "show me everything in a sentence" in my original posting. I
guess what I'd like to find is something that expands on what the MSDN's
treeview tries to do, essentially (or even ideally) a book that walks
through the control in an organized fashion. I know that the information is
in the help/MSDN, but I generally wind up finding such resources better for
looking up how to do a specific thing and often feel like there's probably a
lot more I don't even know about. I also find myself having to follow a
dozen links to get an understanding of some help topics, where only three
links even really pertained.

Maybe I'm just too thick-skulled. <g>

Hi Cor,

I missed the IP link from your list. Thanks for the extra info :)

But interestingly, I am able to access the FAQ using the domain name link as
well; however, it's prohibitively slow :(
