The two most impressive tools I know are Deklarit and LLBLGenPro. They are
slightly different products but both are superlative in every regard.

Kathleen Dollard has a great book "Code Generation in Microsoft .NET"
http://www.apress.com/book/bookDisplay.html?bID=212 that has a really good
section on doing ORM yourself.

Check out NHibernate (http://www.nhibernate.org/) it is a port of the
Hibernate framework which is the most popluar Java OR mapping framework.
