Move emails

Hi,

I use WebDAV to move emails from one folder to another folder. The moving is
ok. But some of emails still show up in the original folder. I use Outlook
web Access to check, they are gone. But Outlook still has them. I run WebDAV
program again and couldn't find them. Is there cache in Outlook that I need
to clean it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Li,

First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue. From
your description, I understand that you need to know why emails are left in
Outlook since WebDAV has moved the emails to another folder. If there is
any misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

Here, I think there might be some synchronization problems. Outlook has a
local cache. When files has been moved, it requires some time for Outlook
to synchronize with the Exchange Server. If the original emails don't go
way, please try to click on Send/Receive button to issue a sychronization.

HTH.

ps: Please post WebDAV issues in microsoft.public.exchange2000.development
newsgroup. It is the proper group that might have more knowlegable persons
to answer your questions.
