Don't use my assemblies

I have created assemblies for my application and installed the application
on the clients computer.
I also installed my assemblies into the GAC.
How do I prevent someone else from using "my" assemblies in "their" VS.NET
development environment for creating "their" own application?

Look around for examples for implementing a design time license on them.

Take a look at the StrongNameIdentityPermission class.

I believe the documentation states that assemblies installed into the gac are
available machine wide. Assuming that this was a web application, you would
install your assemblies into the client web bin folder instead thus
restricting access at the web app for your client.
