VB.NET 2003 Won't run a form

When I try and run a form in VB.NET 2003, the form does not run. It indicates
that the build succeeded, but the software just hangs there and never
displays the running form. Any ideas?

So when you create a brand new project, and add a new form, it won't run?
Or is it just this one form? Has any form worked? You sure it isn't visible
behind the IDE? (check the taskbar)

It happens for a new form in a new project and for any existing projects
which ran o.k. in the past.

Ok, what changed? XP SP2? Perhaps just re-install VB.NET?

Actually, XP SP2 was installed recently.

There ya go. I would try reinstalling VB.NET, or checking into issues with
SP2 and .NET.
