Changing Default Behavior of 'Add Existing Item...'?

Is there a way to change the default behavior of "Add Existing
Item..."?

I want to default to the "Link File" option instead of the ridiculous
"copy file to the current project so I lose any updates because I've
modified 3 projects that include that file and I forgot to copy those
changes back to the MyLibrary directory" method.

I'm using both VS.NET 2002 (mostly) and VS.NET 2003 (new projects).

Sorry for the rant.

Kenneth Love
