Excel files and .Net

I cannot open an EXCEL file that contains a % in the file name using
Javascript on my aspx page. I get a "Page not Found" error.

I can go into IE and open it that way or open the Excel file direct.

Using the same local IE, on 1 Server I can open the file and on another I
cannot (this one is behind a firewall). Assume, it is not a local IE setting
then due to this and the patching is a little different on the 2 Servers but
can't see any other difference.

PLEASE - Has anyone had this issue or know anything about it? I am stuck and
have not found any other info in MS-Knowledge Base and many searches.

Thanks
Amelia
