VB6 ListView and ImageList Controls Not Working after Upgrade to V

On a VB6 form, I have a listview control associated with an imagelist
control. The icons from the imagelist control (ImageList1) to display in the
listview control (ListView1) are set by the following line:
ListView1.Icons = ImageList1
This seems to work OK.
After conversion to VB.Net, I get the following warning:
UPGRADE_WARNING: Couldn't resolve default property of object
ListView1.Icons. Click for more:
'ms-help://MS.VSCC/commoner/redir/redirect.htm?keyword="vbup1037"'
I don't believe this warning is actually right - I do not believe
ListView1.Icons is being set to the default property of ImageList1 (I have
tried setting it to every property of ImageList1 to no avail), rather it is
being set to reference ImageList1 itself.
Running this line in VB.Net generates the following error:
"An unhandled exception of type
'System.Runtime.Interop.Services.ComException' occurred in
axinterop.mscomctllib.dll".
Additional information: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A881A."
