AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory problems on network share

Hi there,

Im in the process of moving 200 odd websites to a new webfarm. This webfarm
consists of several web servers that access a separate dedicated hardware
storage device (Network Appliance FAS250 Filer) for all web content (so
instead of a website being located on C:\inetpub\wwwroot\websitename it is
now located on \\filer\home\websitename)

This has causes several problems but the main one being that if a web
application uses "AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory" to get the base web
directory (developers sometimes use this for upload directory paths) it now
returns C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\/filer/home/websitename which is the
incorrect address and causes errors.

Can anyone offer any advice to fix this problem?
