(de)serialization problem in .net remoting

Gentlemen,

I am working with .Net Remoting, but I am running into many problems.
Probably due to the fact that I am not very experienced with that new
technology.

The question is... after implementing the remote type, a host application
and the client, I'm having problems with the serialization that happens
during the remote method calls.

I am using the TCP Channel (binary formatting). The problems occurs in a
function "GetSchema" wich does not receive any parameter and returns an
object of type MsDataTable wich is actually, a class derived from DataTable.
If I am not mistaken, DataTable is serializable and my class (MsDataTable)
also is marked with the <Serializable> attribute.

I noticed that the DataRow class is not serializable because of design
issues, but why I am also having problems with DataTable? Might be there
something missing?

The error I am receiving is: "The constructor to deserialize an object of
type Namespace.MsDataTable was not found".

I am not passing away too much details about my specific problem because I
would like to understand the reasons for this to happen, instead of
resolving this specific case. This way I believe any information would be
very helpful to other people.
I thank you in advance for your attention,

Confed. Forces Klaus Richter
