Windows Installer /DotNet

bob
I have a user of a windows forms dotnet application, which is
installed using WI, who is unable to install the application.

She gets an error message: 'The installer was interrupted before [Name
Of aplication] could be installed. You need to restart the installer
to try again'

The user's PC has a split hard drive (C: and D: drives). C: is
formatted to NTFS and houses the OS; D: is formatted to FAT32 and
hosues the users data.

Other formum messages have suggested that there is a problem using WI
on a Win2000 PC with a split drive if SYSTEM AUTHORITY NT doesnt have
access to the second drive. However it is not possiable to grant such
access to a FAT32 drive.

I am totally out of ideas, so any sugggestions will be greatfully
recieved.
