dotnetfx.exe is not valid win32 application

Tried to run the new sqlexpress and got a not valid win32 msg. So i tried to load the dot net and got this for an error. Help

May its an incomplete download? The file sie of dotnetfx.exe should be of
25,196,496 bytes.

Tnx so i will check that out and maybe try to download again. It just seemed strange that both programs gave me the same error
