.NET 2003 Installation Problem

Hi

I have a Windows 2000 SP3 system. I tried to install .NET 2003 (May
2003 MSDN) Professional Edition. The installation completes copying
from the first Disc and in the middle of the second disc the system
restarts.

I tried this many times and i simply cant understand what went wrong
and where.

Any suggestions/solutions ??

Thanks.

What Kerry said, and if you continue to have problems, check the install log
(should be in the temp folder) for where/why the installation failed. Help
with log interpretation can be found in these groups, especially:

microsoft.public.vsnet.setup

Hope this helps.

I have SoftICE installed and it does not work with SP4. That is why i
have restricted to SP3. Is there any other way around.

Note : The SoftICE patch for SP4 doesnt work in my system. So i really
dont want to install SP4.
