Is a 3rd level domain possible on a .net platform?

I don't think the '#' is a legal character, but other than that there
shouldn't be any limitations on domains.

this has very little to do with .NET and has much more to do with Windows
and IIS.

As long as you aren't serious about the # character, which is not legal in
domain names, the rest should work just fine.
