Will ASP.NET 2.0 be implementing SharePoint Lite?

I was reading that ASP.NET 2.0 will include support for Web Parts and
Personaliztion. In fact, it sounds a bit like SharePoint or CMS.

Am I correct in my assumption?

It can be used with SharePoint, but the model is not 100% the same. You will
not have to install ANY SharePoint bits for ASP.NET 2.0.

If I recall correctly, the portal framework in asp2 will get merged into SPS
