What are Visual Studio 2005 Express Products?

Will these be add-ons to Whidby?

The Visual Studio 2005 Express products are limited use versions of Visual Studio that allow you to build .NET Framework based applications. These are similar to Visual Studio 2005, but they have reduced functionality. The Express editions are not addon's to Visual Studio. The final pricing and features that will be in the various Express editions have not been finalized. The beta 1 versions of the various Express products are freely downloadable today.

If you are not familiar with the Visual Studio 2005 Express products please visit http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/.

From http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/, "The Express products,
expanding the Visual Studio product line to include lightweight,
easy-to-use, easy-to-learn tools for hobbyists, enthusiasts, and novices who
want to build dynamic Windows applications and Web sites."

There's more information through the links on that page.
